[A] All vehicles through 1969, Corvettes through 1971 and light trucks through 1973 use this short pump Fig. 41.1. It has a small 5/8-inch shaft and bearings as compared with later pumps. The pulley mounting flange has two sets of bolt holes.

[B] This extended pump was used on most passenger cars from 1969 through 1976. Fig. 41.2 It has the large bolt circle pattern on the pulley flange. This big-bearing pump has a 3/4-inch diameter shaft with the nose machined down to 5/8-inch diameter.

[C] Heavy trucks, one ton and up, Corvettes from 1971 on, light trucks 1973 on, and other vehicles from 1976 on except the Monza use this pump Fig 41.3. It has a large bolt circle pattern with large bearing and shaft

[D] This is the pump used in the V-8 Monza. It has a large bearing, large bolt circle pattern, large shaft, short body with a special mounting boss See Arrow in Fig. 41.4.
