Introduced in 1976 it was the replacement for the 262-CID. It has an odd bore size of 3.736-inch and the same stroke 3.48-inch which is the same as the 350-CID engine. The Bore was changed to 3.74-inch in 1985. This combination provided good power, torque and emission levels. This engine is still in production to date. The max bore for this block is 0.060-inch. |
