Introduced in 1994 as the L99 and based on the Second Generation small-block It has the same Stroke as the original 265-CID built from 1955-57' and the same Bore as the 1985 and newer 305-CID. One difference in this engine from other small blocks is the rod length which was increased from 5.70-inch to 5.940-inch. |
